As stated in an article I read, the 2008 Corvette
Z06 is basically a race car that you can drive every day. It
will make the jaunt from standstill to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. A
quarter of a mile will go by in just 11.7 seconds and you will
be doing 125 mph. If you have the room, you are crazy, and you
can afford the ensuing speeding ticket, you can top out at 198
mph.
The ultimate performance coupe and in
terms of "bang for your buck,",
the 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 offers a performance suspension,
dual exhaust, and a road-burning 505-hp, 7.0-liter V8 engine,
paired with a 6-speed short-throw manual shifter. It puts out
470 ft-lbs of torque at 4,800 RPM and gets 15/24 mpg. More
important, it hits 0-60 in 4 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive coupe
rides on a four-wheel independent double-wishbone suspension
with a rear limited-slip differential. Equipped with traction
and stability control, 4-wheel disc and ABS brakes with
electronic brakeforce distribution, and dual front airbags, the
2008 Corvette Z06 keeps you safe while you're letting loose.

hundreds of photos, you will not see them on this auction. The
reason is simple. This is a new car in every sense of the word
with the exception of the year built. This Corvette has been
kept in a climate controlled environment since purchased and was
only sold to make room for new stock. No issues, no excuses.
