Here comes the ultimate cruise night car. Everyone loves a
street rod, especially in this color combo, red exterior
accented with a gray velour interior. This Master Deluxe
has all the right stuff. Beautiful rust free Calif. body,
stunning high gloss bright red 2 stage base coat clear coat
finish. Rock solid front and rear fenders, proper
alignment to doors, hood and deck lid. Suicide doors with
bottoms, very impressive. The car was restored in the mid
80's with a complete diary of the process with receipts and
cost. The power plant is a 350 V8, 4 barrel Edelbrock carb.,
and aluminum intake. Vintage AC and heat, HEI dist., orig.
style radiator, exhaust manifolds with dual Flow Master
mufflers, TH 350 automatic trans, 9" Ford rear w/multi leaf
springs. Mustang II rack in pinion steering with front
power disc brakes that stop on a dime. The underside has
the orig. boxed frame that is smooth with no signs of rust or
repair. Super orig. floor board painted the same color as
the car. Steel running boards w/rubber tread runners,
in perfect shape. All the orig. glass was replaced with
tinted glass, complete new window rubbers, door felts are
excellent. The weather strip is considered in excellent
shape. The ornamental door hardware and chrome is excellent
inside and out. Side vented locking windows for fresh air
and front cowl vent in good working order. Aerodynamic
pendulant adorns the hood. Support handles on each side in
the back seat as well as wind lace roping on the back of the
front seat not only adorns this space but is functional.
All the wind lace in the interior is super nice. Wiper
arms have been replaced. The doors open and close with no
effort and windows easily roll up and down. The exterior
finish has a straight body with no waves what so ever, older
paint with a look as smooth as glass. 2 minor chips
noticed on the whole car. Rear bumper are not perfect.
The area where the bolts are have some chips in the chrome, but
very decent condition. This restoration has held up well
after 25 yrs. The interior is gray velour. Equipped
with a full set of Stewart Warner gauges, tach, amp, temp,
speedo and gas gauge and E brake that all work fine.
Heater works awesome. Three speed automatic shifter on the
floor, seats, carpet, headliner, kick panels, dash, door panels,
visors are all in super nice condition. Driver's side
mirror as well as passenger convex side view mirror for wider
viewing. Very comfortable car, and plenty of room
for company! The glove box inset was also replaced.
The center dash was restored with charcoal grey metallic.
Modernized tilt steering wheel, complete new wiring under the
dash, neatly installed with wiring diagram. AM/FM Pioneer
CD player with 4 speaker set up. Best of all, this street
rod drives like a dream, and dependable. This classic is
ready to go! |
