Check out this cool mild custom 1960 Chevrolet Belair 2 dr.
sedan. Basically, a very orig. factory 900 paint code
Tuxedo Black 283 2V #'s match with PS. The Easy Street
advanced air ride suspension system was added for better ride
and handling with 12' front vented, drilled brake rotors, 4
piston Corvette brake calipers, dual master cylinder with 9'
brake power booster. New 18' Billet specialties 5 spoke
polished wheels up front and 20' in the rear. New Goodyear
low profile radials for a sweet look and extreme drivability.
The body and paint is like glass, smooth and straight as can be.
Polished, stainless and bright work restored chrome bumpers with
a show quality shine. The car has all its orig. trim and
is considered overall excellent condition. Straight, long
flowing body line with the proper alignment to the hood, doors
and rear trunk lid. Solid front fenders and door bottoms,
factory orig. rear quarters that are super nice. Great
lower inner quarter extensions, some floor work has been done,
both rear floor pans were professionally installed. Solid
trunk pan that has had minor repairs, but over all, a very nice
repair. Factory under coating that is rock hard on the
under side kept this car in very good condition for the past 50
years. Factory style OEM dual mufflers, newer tail pipes
gives this Belair a stock tuned sound. Under the hood is
correct, except the master cylinder and brake booster.
Rebuilt and restored factory Rochester GM 2 carb., factory 1960
intake, generator, exhaust manifolds, orig. style Harrison
radiator. Restored power assist steering valve.
Vacuum advance dist. Windshield washer canister.
Nice clean inner fenders, orig. paint on the fire wall with
caulk markings 806 indicating the interior trim code gray cloth
and vinyl bench seat. All the glass is exceptionally nice,
with orig. windshield and window rubbers. The window felts
and weather strip appear to be all orig. and in very good
condition. The interior is super nice, restored factory
style seat covers, front and rear. New white fabric
headliner, orig. vinyl floors, matting stitched to the carpet on
the humps, indicated as original. Door panels, door
hardware, arm rest pads are original. Beautiful dash board
and instrument cluster with no wear or flaws noticed.
58,654 miles indicated as original and remarkably believable
once you lay your eyes on this black beauty. Perfect
steering wheel with no cracks, brilliant chrome horn trim ring.
Period correct superior industries seat belts. This car
runs smooth, shifts nicely with the stock 2 speed turbo glide
automatic transmission. No issues with the air ride set
up, nice and firm, straight and level, no clunks or rubbing
noises. This 60 Belair is a cool 2 thumbs up.
Considered a very original car with a few modern upgrades.
