The 1963 Chevrolet Impala offered all new "Jet Smooth" styling.
The 1963 Impala's distinctive body style has crisp lines with
pointed front and rear fenders which emphasize the long, low
style of car design popular in the early 1960s. We are
lucky enough to have this one back in our showroom. For
the 3rd time around, in the past 10 years and hardly driven,
this beautiful original rust free 1963 Impala has rust free body
panels, factory spot welds on the bottom of the rear quarter.
Mirror finish paint with extremely straight body lines.
Perfect alignment to hood, doors and rear trunk lid.
Spectacular chrome, stainless and glass. Many N.O.S.
pieces were used in the restoration. Shaded replacement
windshield, all other glass is orig. L.O.F. safety glass,
no scratches on the glass, windows roll up and down with no
effort. Doors open and close with a simple touch.
Exceptionally nice rear tail light chrome bezels, trim and
bright work, 3 piece front and rear bumpers, dual bow tie side
view mirrors, dual rear radio antenna option. The doors,
hood and trunk jambs are refinished in the same high quality
shine as the exterior of the car. The weather strip is
excellent through out the vehicle. Under the hood is very
impressive with a #'s matching 409/340 engine that runs a smooth
as can be consisting of a 2 spd., Power glide trans. The
rare example is equipped with power steering, PB, correct GM
style belt hoses and clamps, chrome 409 valve covers, factory
intake, Carter 4-V carb, factory exhaust manifolds, orig. glass
windshield, washer bottle. Code 900 trim tag, factory
Tuxedo Blk, 812 trim red interior with bucket seats.
Looking at the interior, it can't get any nicer than this!
Brilliant SS chrome center console with factory pencil shifter
and white knob. Beautifully padded dash, factory center
dash tach, factory SS steering wheel, factory am radio, orig.
style GM red rubber floor mats with white bow tie inserts.
The interior has NO wear or tear. Orig. style large loop
pile carpet, door panels, kick panels, headliner are all in
excellent condition. Tray and door hardware are also in
excellent condition. Interior stainless trim is considered
excellent condition through out. Nice firm comfortable
seating, new orig. N.O.S. sill plates, everything works, except
for the clock. Right from a private collection, this 409
is simply one of the finest examples offered for it's kind.
Restored in the early 2000, with no expense spared during the
ground up restoration. 8.00x14" 4 ply bias ply white wall
tires with factory SS hub caps. Enormous trunk with NO
rust or evidence of repair on the orig. trunk pan, nor inside
the rear quarters. Orig. bias ply spare, jack and trunk
mats. Own a piece of Chevrolet's early performance
history! This beautiful car speaks for itself and is a
must see. |
