Feast your eyes on the 1966 Chevy II L-79 3
owner car originally from OH.
The car was built the 4th week of March 1966
in the Norwood plant.
It’s a #’s matching 327/350hp engine with some
4 spd. Muncie, 12 bolt 3.73 Posi with single traction bar
arm on the passengers side rear, manual steering, manual drum
brakes with dual master cylinder.
Factory color scheme, Marina blue/med. Blue bench seat.
Just finishing up a cosmetic restoration of the exterior
body, the paint was wet sanded and buffed to achieve that high
gloss finish. Most
of the cars exterior stainless, bright work and emblems were
original and was in need of replacement.
By changing out
the front grille, front hood trim, headlight bezels, tail
light bezels, 327 emblems, cross flag emblems, refinished
14”correct Rally wheels with red line tires, really gives this
car a lot of eye appeal.
The interior was also repeated in the factory style vinyl
seat covers with orig. seat belts.
Correct loop carpet, vinyl bench seat cover, headliner,
dome light, rear pkg. tray.
Rebuilt factory shifter with t-handle, reverse lock out.
Shifts smooth as can be.
New sun visors, new accelerator pedal, clutch, brake,
E-brake handle, interior window trim, orig. windlace is in
Door panels, arm rest bases, pads are considered excellent,
weather strip, window felts, door handles, lock cylinders have
been replaced, new trunk lock, spare tire, orig. jack and trunk
mat, fresh spatter paint inside the spotless orig. pan.
Straight, clean, detailed and solid inside and out.
While changing the carpet, we noticed, the floors are
super solid refinished in Marina Blue.
Hush mat floor heat shield was installed for sound
deadening insulating against extreme heat.
The car now has correct Kelsie Hayes 14”x6” Rally wheels,
trim rings and pie plate wheel caps with new red line tires.
Under the hood has high compression solid lifter cam
shaft. Roller tip
rockers, double roller timing chain.
High volume oil pump, Winters alum #4090 intake, 750 CFM
Holley double pumper, factory exhaust manifold with chambered
mufflers gives this car a nice bellowy sound.
The block is a #377 cast dated C-2-66 block stamp pad
along with 6N151033 appearing n the pad. #461 heads cast dated
A-7-66. MSD Pro
Billet dist., with electronic ignition. Orig. style dual snorkel
Considered an excellent driver quality car.
Comes with orig. radio delete plate, orig. valve covers.
