This extremely rare documented 68 L-78 Chevelle SS is about 7%
of the factory hi-performance units built with the 396/375hp
option. 37,235 actual miles indicated as original with
only 3 owners and complete history, orig. broadcast sheet,
Protecto plate and owner's manual. M-21 close ratio, 12
bolt 4:10 Posi, black bucket seats with console, PFDB, roller
tach with full instrumentation. This is a very original
car that has all the factory correct original components.
Exceptionally clean, excellent, solid orig. under carriage
refinished in the factory color scheme, no modifications
noticed. Factory Muncie shifter, seat belts, am radio with
front speaker and single rear speaker. Solid orig. trunk
with spare, jack and mat. Orig. rear quarters, full tinted
glass with replacement windshield, all excellent. Proper
fitting doors, hood and trunk lid. New weather strip,
orig. window felt, orig. bright work is all brilliant
throughout. T-3 headlights, perfect orig. grille, trim,
white sport side stripe. 15" Rally wheels with vintage
Mickey Thompson Indy profile tires. Sweet, powerful,
awesome. Great performance, solid lifter motor with all
the correct stuff. Drives like a true muscle car should.
No power steering, just as it should be at the track!
