This 1st generation 69 convertible will grab your attention with
this color combination... and just in time for summer!
Restored in 1997 and driven only approx. 3,100 miles since
completion, dressed in factory Fathom Green with a white hockey
stripe. New 225" 70R 14" Dunlop GT qualifiers raised white
letter radials with SS 5 spoke wheels. New black power
convertible top, front and rear bumper guards, front and rear
spoilers, cowl hood and hide away headlights. The exterior
finish is 13 years old and still has a fantastic high gloss
finish. Straight body lines with nicely closing hood,
doors and deck lid. Rust free door bottoms. Orig.
rear quarters, detailed trunk with orig. trunk pan, temp. spare
and jack. The under side has new floor pans professionally
installed, new sub frame bushings, upper & lower control arm
bushings, complete new OEM style dual exhaust with trans
verse muffler. Good tight front end, new brake hoses, sway
bar links, PFDB. The car is equipped with an M-20 wide
ratio Muncie which was also rebuilt with new sychros, also, a
sealed front bearing with a vent to eliminate trans. leaks.
2,000 miles on the rebuilt 12 bolt rear with 3.31 Posi gears...
great for the highway. Orig. glass in very good condition,
replacement windshield. Correct Trico wiper blades, new
weather strip, window felts, emblems and front and rear bumpers.
Trim is all excellent. Under the hood has a rebuilt 400
V8, 1970 400 heads, 70 alum Z28 intake with a new 750 Holley
carb. with electronic choke. Pertronics electronic
ignition. New engine bay harness, new light harness.
Rebuilt master cylinder, new brake booster, cowl induction
air cleaner, orig. style radiator with new shroud. Orig.
style exhaust manifolds. The motor has approx. 3,000 miles
since over hauled, .030 thousands over. Butler and
McMaster engine builders, ME., the best in the industry.
Plenty of power and accelerations. The interior has all
been restored in 1997. Parchment deluxe interior, new seat
covers, door panels, carpet. New rosewood steering wheel,
tilt wheel, factory tach, console gauges, Hurst Competition plus
shifter, am/fm cassette, GM Bowtie style, new dash pad.
Nice orig. wood grain dash, GM deluxe seat belts, front and
rear. The car appears to have had an am/fm stereo...Metac
speaker covers are still in place up front in kicker panels.
Everything works great. A super quality driver, tight and
straight and very handsome. Hit the car shows with this
convertible and have some fun! |
