This 1969 Chevy Camaro Yenko recreation
grabs everyone's attention that steps in our showroom. No
matter what brand they are loyal to, they all stop to take a
closer look at this one. Documentation indicates this car was
originally from TX, recreated in Arkansas. This car has under
gone a complete rotisserie restoration with only 1,454 miles
since completion. Leaving nothing un touched, evey item on this
car has been restored. All the original sheet metal was taken
down to the bare metal. PPG product and PPG concept Huggar
Orange paint was used. Factory original Huggar Orange. The
engine is a 400hp big block with open chambered heads and a mild
street hydraulic cam. Period correct exhaust manifolds, as is
the exhaust system. Built for performance, this legendary 427
Yenko recreation has an M21 close ratio Muncie 4 spd. New
center force clutch, Hurst competition shifter that shifts
smooth as can be. The rear end is a 12 bolt Camaro housing BM
code 3.73 which is posi traction. List of new items: front disc
brakes, stainless brake and fuel lines, gas tank and sending
unit, complete new radiator. Support bushings as well as sub
frame bushings. New heater core, hoses, blower motor, radiator,
fan, pulleys, fly wheel, alternator, correct brackets, new valve
covers, brake booster and master cylinder. All the exhaust is
new as well as the brake system, e-brakes. Complete new wiring,
including the main wiring harness, horn relay, neutral safety
switch, head and tail switch, and dome harness. The interior is
completely restored. New instrument cluster, tilt wheel,
bezels, 140mph speedo, new cable lens on speedo, fuel gauges are
replaced. Radio delete plate. New carpet, dash pad, door
panels, locks, door hardware, headliner, sail panels, kick
panels, seat foam and covers, sound deadener, sill plates,
vents, window felts, complete weather strip kit. Rear view
mirror, glove box and dome light, new windshield with restored
bright work and trim. New front and rear bumpers. From the
cowl induction hood to the emblems, bright "SYC" on the head
rests, you'll know you're in the presence of a recreation that
was pains takingly done at no expense. The glossy Huggar Orange
finish is like glass and compliments the new American Racing
torque thrust D rims, BF Goodrich radial tires with all new
studs and lug nuts. The under side is as nice as the top side.
New suspension, front big block springs, new multi leaf rear
springs, shackles, u-bolts, 4 new shocks, new steering box, idle
and Pitman arm, center link, upper and lower ball joints, tie
rod ends and sway bar links. Rebuilt steering column. The
floors, sub frame and suspension compartments are refinished in
GM black restoration paint.
Basically, a show quality recreation that has extreme
performance with a look that will stop you in your tracks. Must
be seen to appreciate.
