This 1969 Corvette has been well preserved,
always garaged, only driven in fair weather. Totally
pampered, and it shows. An unmolested. Totally orig.
look under the hood.
The power plant is a 427/390hp big block engine.
Completely rebuilt with 0 mile with the orig. equipment such as the smog
emissions in tack. GM hoses, orig. heater
hose and clamps, replaced fan belts. Valve covers, air cleaner element, carb, distr, intake, radiator are all original. Amazingly,
this car has all it's orig. drive train. M21 close ratio 4
spd. trans, special order Posi traction rear axle. Options
are: F41 suspension, rear window defogger, side exhaust, PS,
special order genuine leather seat trim, am/fm radio, alarm
system, front fender lower trim and 15" Rally wheel with BF
Goodrich TA Radials. On the under side, frame is smooth,
no rust or sign of repairs in the fiberglass. Totally
orig. front end components all in good condition. Has orig.
spare tire in the carrier, rebuilt calipers, even the exhaust
appears to be orig. Inside is completely original, even
the carpet has no signs of wear or tear. Fiber optics
work, all the gauges work, including the clock! Factory
shoulder and lap belts, radio works. Brilliant instrument
cluster with odometer showing 63,919 actual miles. All
orig. glass, including the windshield. Good weather strip,
no dry rot or cracks. Looking at the chrome bumpers, they
are all excellent, bright work, side mirror, trim, window felts,
trim rings are all in excellent condition. The orig.
grille is excellent with no pits or cracks. The car has a
nice stance, with all orig. suspension. Really tight, no
rattles, great performance, super handling, smooth shifting and
a really nice rumble from the side exhaust. Comes with orig.
tank sheet, window sticker and owner's manual. Very
collectible for the serious collector that is a great
investment. Remember...they are only original once! |
