Check out this bad bow tie street machine equipped with L 78
396/375hp, M 21 close ratio 4 spd. 12 bolt 3.55 Posi CBT coded
on rear end, PS, PDB, 14" steel wheels with bow tie poverty
caps, new Firestone F-70 14" Super Sport wide oval bias ply
tires. R59 Delco correct battery. Full tinted glass,
orig. except replacement windshield. Factory color scheme
code 75-75 Cranberry Red, trim 733 black buckets. Approx.
restored 9 years ago, high gloss vibrant red finish that looks
like glass. Bright work, chrome, bumpers, grille, emblems,
tail light bezels, orig. T-3 headlights, dual side view mirrors
and orig. Trico wipers are all beautifully restored. Check
out the front and rear bumper guards. The car looks
like a street sleeper. Under the hood is quite impressive.
375hp solid lifter motor pushing 11:0.1 compression .
Block casting 3969854 block is dated F-8-1970, block pad T0625CK0
indicates June 25th, 375hp 4 spd. application with vin#
stamped on pad. Intake cast 3963569 Winters correct for
375hp, Holley carb., GM part 3967477-GG, list # 4557, RH exhaust manifold, part #3916178,LF
exhaust manifold #3908878 New 4 core big block radiator with
correct support and heater box. GM hoses with correct
orig. style clamps, GM style air cleaner element, restored power
booster and master cylinder w/proportioning valve. Correct
alternator with deep groove pulley. Mallory uni-lite electronic
ignition with Mallory pro 8mm wires. All new stainless
steel brake and fuel lines. Complete new weather strip
kit. The interior is in perfect condition. Factory
tach and gauges, Hurst competition shifter with black knob.
SS steering wheel, new seat foam, covers, door panels, dash pad,
carpet, rear pkg. tray...all new. Correct dated GM seat
belts. Factory am radio in the trunk. Now radio
delete, enough to hear the ground pounding beasty engine.
The trunk is spotless w/orig. 14" wheel, bias ply Firestone SS
and jack assembly. The underside is rock solid, slightly
undercoated to protect it's orig. floors-that are super nice.
New dual 2.5 exhaust w/Flow Master Mufflers, new front end
components, ball joints, tie rod ends, upper and lower control
arm bushings, brake line, e-brake system. Very correct #'s
through out this L-78 machine. Correct 1970 M-21 4 spd,
non matching. The rest of this car is very correct.
