Remember back to 1979 when McDonalds first introduced the "happy
meal," Michael Jackson's "off the wall" album was released and
the Sony Walkman was a hit for on the go music. The 1979
Camaro Z28 was also born into the Chevrolet line up. This
second generation Z28 has lots of eye appeal with its very
original 1 single repaint, beautiful straight body lines and
correct factory appearance, white with orange/red sport stripes.
Front fender flares, rear spoiler, black out hood, headlight and
grille treatment gives this Z28 a remarkable appearing look
about it. Proper alignment to all the body lines with no
gaps, nice tight doors that don't sag. Dual sport color
keyed racing mirrors with drivers die remote. Factory gold
15" alloy turbine wheels that are restored to show quality.
BF Goodrich TA raised white letter radial tires. All orig.
glass, including the windshield, all in great shape, new weather
strip. Refinished windshield and rear window moulding in
black, exactly how they came from the factory. The only
bright work is the roof drip moulding. Under the hood is
nicely detailed. Equipped with a #'s matching 350-4V
engine appears to be never removed from the car. No
modifications, all the factory components are there including
the emissions & electronic ignition. The motor has been
detailed, inner fenders and the under side of the hood has been
refinished in GM satin restoration paint. PS, PFDB, re
cored radiator, correct belts, hoses and factory vacuum lines.
Taking a closer look at the interior, this 79 Z28 has orig. seat
covers, perfect factory appearance. Tach, clock, after
market radio with dual 6x9 speakers in the rear, center console,
orig. door panels, headliner, new carpet, and factory seat
belts. Super shape inside this car with no wear or tear.
Inside the trunk still has the factory black satin paint, no
rust or repair noticed, no spare or jack. The under
carriage is super solid and completely original. Factory
or dealer installed, light undercoating kept this car from any
rust issues over the past 32 years from being exposed to the
weather. Most defiantly, a fair weather car. All
original front end components, ball joints, tie rod ends, orig.
factory exhaust with catalitic converter, front and rear sway
bars, all orig. suspension. Everything is in good
condition on the underside. This car runs extremely well,
and is in great condition. Looking for a 2nd
