Here is a fine example of a New Mexico car that is bullet
straight, ready to go restoration that should fetch 1st place
awards at cruise nights and car shows. Countless hours
spent of blocking and sanding for a perfect laser straight
fit and finish on this beautifully restored 68 Charger.
Much time spent on attention to details as well as money
spent to make this true, fine example, second generation
Charger, and was built for high performance. Stripped to
the bare metal, solid smooth underside, floors, and torque boxes
and the only thing replaced was the trunk pan. During the
restoration, a new K-member and a beasty 440 with 906 high
performance heads. Upgraded Holley street Dominator intake
with an Edelbrock carb. with electronic choke. Electronic
ignition. 8mm Mopar performance plug wires with Vac
advance dist., new chrome Mopar performance valve covers, orig.
style exhaust manifolds with new OEM 2.5 dual exhaust. New
master cylinder, headlight vacuum hoses, headlight harness,
rubber hood bumpers and stops. From any angle, this
Charger draws people in and attracts a ot of attention.
Gleaming chrome, highly restored stainless, bright work to show
quality. Classic 14"Magnum 500 wheels with raised white
letter 225/70 R14 radial tires. New replacement
tinted windshield, restored bumpers, flip top gas cap with that
brilliant chrome finish compliments the white bumble bee stripe.
Complete new weather strip. Inside the trunk has the orig.
68 jack, spare and trunk mat. 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 Sure
Grip. The interior of the car is nothing short of
spectacular. Restored through out, bright white correct
seat covers, new white headliner, restored instrument cluster
with all new gauges and switches. Factory AM radio, quartz
clock that works! New dash pad, door panels, carpet,
hardware, rear pkg. tray, Early 70's seat belts as well as
the pistol grip 4 spd. shifter. Complete new seat
foam, detailed door frames, natural cast metal finish on latches
and strikers. Rear window defogger. Original
steering wheel in mint condition. Working hide away
headlights, a look that is unmistakable. If you're looking
for a Coke Bottle style Charger, this one is it! This
factory 68 Mopar handsomely presented in a new white vinyl top
and matching interior just screams attention. Originally,
