By 1930, Model A's had been given a substantial face lift.
Larger 4.75 tires on smaller 19" wheels resulted in an overall
height reduction. Also, wider fenders, a deeper radiator
shell and the elimination of the cowl stanchion were all
contributors to the Model A's fresh new look for the 30's.
This Model A station wagon has been beautifully restored.
A farmers dream buggy for peddling fresh vegetables roadside or
to local market. Display your business in this attractive,
unique, workable wagon. This fine example has only 886
miles since being restored. Full oak rear with folding
tail gate and rear view window. All steel body, frame off
restoration with no expense spared. High quality finish,
show quality wood workmanship from front to back. Tilt out
windshield, excellent bright work, restored front grille,
headlights, (orig. Ford headlights), front grille guard, single
side mounted spare, dual side view mirrors. The oak pick
up bed has side rails and an oak marquee to advertise your
business. Finished in black wrought iron and stainless
screws, hardware and stainless acorn nuts for that smooth
finished look. Oak cab finished off with side arm rests
gives that open air experience. All designed and assembled
by Frank Reitz, DeSoto, MO, 1987. Exquisite coachwork,
color keyed dash to match the exterior finish. Black
foot kick panels with custom side pockets for storage.
Instrument light, nicely tucked under dash, illuminates the dash
cluster. Hidden cigarette lighter can be also used for
cell phone charger, or other accessories. Ride in comfort
on the black vinyl bench seating that also has storage
underneath, complimented by the black rubber floor mat with an
anti skid protection finish. Around the outside has full
steel fenders, rubber tread running boards with Ford step
plates. The underside has been completely restored.
Detailed frame and suspension, as well as the front and rear end
components. Under the hood is very clean. Runs very
well by either electric start or the old hand crank. Be
creative and let your imagination go with the possibilities of a
small traveling business. Attend local car shows, cruise nights
or parades, this Huckster will surely be the talk of any
gathering. Drives fantastic. |
