Let's talk Street Rods! What a blast from the past built
in the 80's. Nostalgia yellow,
orange flame steel louvered hood, louvered rear, fiberglass
fenders and running boards. Powered by a small block Chevy with
dual quads. TH350 trans, with a mild shift kit. 9" Ford rear
with total performance adjustable traction bars, multi leaf rear
spring, also, total performance. Tubular drop axle w/ multi
leaf front suspension, power front disc brake, rear drums
definitely old school technology, but tastefully done.
Refinished in black lacquer with a bit of patina here and there
some areas of old lacquer cracking, but extremely solid body
with no rust issues or repairs showing problems. Solid orig.
rust free doors, all bronze glass is super nice. Roll out
windshield w/ new gaskets all 4 windows roll all the way down
with no effort. Under the hood is nicely detailed, complete
updated Ron Francis wiring from front to rear, completed last
yr. Everything works. Edelbrock alum 2 X 4 intake with dual 55
CFM Edebrock carb. Uni light dist. w/electronic ignition.
Vintage air cond., and heat. Chevy performance valve covers,
slum Walker radiator w/Billet alum overflow canister. Chrome
alternator w/Billet alum brackets, trans. oil cooler installed
in front of the radiator, no overheating problems, runs 190
degrees in traffic! Malibu tilt steering column with manual
steering. 3in tubular drop axle with king pins. Total
performance e-brake system that works fine. Solid orig. frame,
never channeled or sectioned. Just a nice old school 33 street
rod. The interior has a saddle vinyl folding bucket seats with
no wear or tear. Huge back seat with lots of leg room for the
whole family! Billet dash panel w/complete set of Stuart Warner
gauges. Console with Jensen CD player and an after market tach
installed. Bullet shell shifter. All the headliner, door
panels, back panels, carpet, are all in excellent shape. Orig.
door and window crank hardware. A very unique 33 Hot Rod,
seriously, a terrific find for the collector with this steel
body, nostalgic street rod. Chrome front and rear bumperettes,
orig. style red steel style wheels, Ford V 8 moon caps, styled
trim rings with wide white wall radials gives this car a real
FAT look. Dual side chrome mounted side mirrors. Radio
antenna, chrome grille surround with color keyed painted front
grille gives that period appearance for conversation.
Definitely, 2 thumbs up at the car shows! Happy days are here again! |
