This 55 Ford is bringing sexy back! Grab your girl and hit the cruise night or car shows with this neat looking pick up. Powered by a 289-4V engine, Edelbrock alum 4 barrel intake with 600 CFM Holley carb. Factory exhaust manifolds with dual Flow Master Mufflers. PS, power drum brakes with dual master cylinder. Straight axle, orig. style leaf springs and front end components. C-4 automatic trans., 8" rear axle with multi leaf springs. The motor runs excellent and has a nice rumble with the dual mufflers. Plenty of power when you put the pedal to the metal. The transmission appears to have had a mild shift kit in it. The exterior has a shiny coat of Robbins Egg blue paint. New oak bed with stainless door glass and window rubbers. Older replacement windshield with new windshield rubber. Rock solid running boards, spare tire carrier not installed but included in the trunk. Both front and rear bumpers are triple plated chrome from Tri Plus. Original style headlights, grille painted in white accents the the Robbins Egg blue. New grille, hood emblems as well as both chrome side view mirrors. Newer style 15" Alloy wheels with raised white letter radial tires. Nice solid bed, solid orig. fenders with a small lower patch panels on the front inner sections, but nicely done. Solid orig. doors, some work done on the front fenders, but overall only a few minor flaws noticed. New chromed door handles, new tail light bezels with tail gate hardware and latches. The underside has it's orig. frame that looks very solid. Orig. gas tank, modified drive shaft, needs minor detail touch up. The interior is fantastic. New Mustang bucket seats finished in bright blue tweed with reclining and lumbar support with center console. Matching door panels and arm rests accented in the blue tweed as well as the headliner with over head console fits a Kenwood am/fm, CD player with dual speakers, completing the interior. The color keyed dash is all restored nicely with custom TPI tech Billet instrument cluster. Early Malibu tilt steering column, Grant sport steering wheel. Orig. heater still in place. New blue Hi-loop carpet with new black carpet on the front cab all. Great looking truck that's considered driver quality condition. Straight and clean. Countless hours spent in restoring this truck. Don't forget your sunglasses...so cool!
