Just out of storage, this documented 10,337 original mile Mach I has only been driven 3,000 miles since 1991, according to the
second owner. Interestingly enough, this Mach I has only
had 2 previous owners. The original owner lived in PA
where it spent most of it's life the past 40 years, now, here's
the interesting part, the original owner owned a body shop.
Built this Shelby GT 350 out of an M Code Mach I. 351
Windsor engine. Factory
Shelby [parts were used on this re creation that was done in
1969. Untouched orig. body panels, custom painted C strip
straight out of the early 70's. Unusual looking rocker
moldings from the early 70's never before seen in our travels.
Magnum 500's with spinner caps. Original F70 Goodyear Polyglas tires, not even dry rotted!
Orig. exhaust system that will need from the Y pipe forward
replaced. Rust free underside. Completely orig.
brake system, front end parts, E-brake system. Light
factory under coat. No rust, rot or repair on the
underside of this rare Mustang. Delco air shocks were
installed in 1970 and still holds air! The exterior body
is rock solid, no rust, body filler what so ever!
Refinished fiberglass parts in lacquer in 1970. Excellent
fit to the front fiberglass fenders, Shelby grille, lower
valance, Lucas fog lamps, perfect factory Shelby hood with no
damage. All the front chrome trim is dated 1969.
Trunk and trunk extensions fit perfect. Fiberglass lower
valance for stock Mustang dual exhaust. No center exhaust
was installed. Orig. paint in door jambs, all weather
strip is excellent, no dry rot, all original. The exterior
finish has some lacquer checking and cracking, super straight body. Full tinted glass,
orig. perfect condition. Orig. bright work, chrome
bumpers, trim, radio antenna all excellent. Perfect vinyl
top with no issues. Most likely one of one with this trim
combo. Totally orig. interior, carpet, door panels, dash,
flip fold seat, Rim blow wheel, seat belts, all excellent and
orig. 2 tiny holes in headliner. Everything works,
Build sheet under driver's seat. No wear or tear.
Factory shifter. No cracks or fading, perfect sail panels, kick
panels still like new. Comes with orig. broadcast sheet, Protecto Plate, copy of orig. Title. 2nd owner's PA Title.
Under the hood has a chromed Ram air air cleaner and brace that
appears to be from a later Mustang, possibly 1971. Period
correct Ford valve covers, orig. intake, carb, distr., orig.
radiator, hoses, clamps, orig. PS belt, replacement alternator
belt. Buck tag still in place. No rust on the inner
fender aprons, however, they have been touch up with flat black
paint. This car has the look of a Shelby. We could
label this one as a one of a kind re-creation with all original
parts! Super low mileage that has the look with a much
lower price...Still an awesome find. |
