Badged as a 442, this F85 deluxe convertible was fully restored
from the ground up approx. 6 yrs ago. Factory Tahitian
yellow still shines like a pair of patent leather shoes!
New black deluxe seats with console, factory tach, power top,
am/fm radio, PS, PB, e-brake warning light and clock.
Under the hood is a 330 4V ultra high compression V8 with Carter
4 barrel carb. 2 spd. power glide automatic trans, updated
SS I's with new Coker classics P215/75 R14" red line radials,
beautiful Tahitian paint, with no bubbles, blisters, chips or
scratches in the 6 year old finish. Detailed hood, doors
and trunk jambs, factory orig. rear quarters, new trunk pan,
Solid door bottoms and front fenders, orig. bright work and
stainless in very good condition, but not perfect. Driver
quality chrome, front and rear bumpers, excellent orig. front
head light bezels. The glass is original, except for
replacement windshield. The underside is solid, no issues
noticed. Exhaust, brakes, e-brake system works fine.
Appears to have all its orig. floors. Solid body mounts,
newer upper and lower control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod
ends etc. Detailed frame in 60% GM restoration satin
finish. It looks like a nice clean frame with no frame
welds or repairs. Check out the interior of this Olds.
All brand new, new seat foam, covers, carpet with matching 442
floor mats, door panels, arm rest pads, orig. dash pad with a
couple of minor cracks on the extreme sides which you really
can't notice unless your looking for it. Factory steering
wheel, horn, lights, heater, tach, am/fm radio that plays.
Compete reproduction set of seat belts, hideaway ashtray, all
orig. wind lacing, interior door hardware is orig. and in
excellent condition. Overall an extremely nice affordable
Olds F85 deluxe convertible that drives, handles and performs as
good as it looks. Now is a great time to cruise up to the
mountains for those foliage rides. Offered at a great
price, but remember, in the spring, the top goes down, the price
goes up! |
