Comments: Basic but beautiful.  A 1968 Road Runner in a very rare, seldom seen color paint code LL1, Surf Turquoise, had only a 4 month production run in the spring of 1968.  Numbers matching 383 rebuilt still with standard bore, this Road Runner carries the RM23 option hardtop model includes the following: Torque flite 727 trans, am radio, PS, very rare and working light pkg, working factory in dash tach, upgraded deluxe interior, full horn ring steering wheel, hood pad, 3:55 geared Sure Grip rear end.  Best option for these cars is the "beep, beep" horn...voice of the Road Runner.  This Road Runner was taken completely apart, right down to the bare shell.   All the suspension parts are new, new heavy duty brake system, including new 11x3 front brake drums and 10x2.5 rear.  Hemi springs, new spring bushings, u -bolts, shocks, powder coated K-member, complete new front end components.  Upper and lower control arm bushings, ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, center link sway bar bushings, Idler arm, new PS box, lines.  Also, a new fuel tank, sending unit, straps, fuel pump, new fuel lines, carb, choke, and choke pull off.  Orig. style radiator, re cored heater core, rebuilt heater box, new firewall insulation, new wiring.  Replacement of both rear quarters and trunk floor.  Very clean under carriage. The glass is all original, except the windshield should be replaced. (wiper arm mark).  Complete new interior, headliner, dash pad, seat covers, carpet, pkg. tray, door panels, dome light etc.  AM radio is missing, new weather strip, factory seat belts, new window felts.  Notice the period correct Mickey Thompson Bias Ply tires with orig. steel style wheels that should be painted to exterior body color.  Finished off with an aggressive exhaust, sure to turn heads to see what's about to arrive! Build sheet and photos of the restoration Too Much to list.  Basically, almost everything has been replaced, restored or refurbished.  Only a few things left to do.  A very desirable color with lots of eye appeal.
