This little GTO has a beasty 389/360hp tri-powered engine.
Original wt 4 barrel, #'s matching engine w/the tri-power added.
The motor was rebuilt less than 1500 miles ago. New gears
with Posi. M20 wide ratio 4 spd trans, power brakes,
headers w/orig. exhaust manifolds included. New clutch
assembly, all new seals in the transmission. Rally One
wheels, padded dash, am CD radio that works, back up lights,
orig. factory color, Mayfair Maize. The sheet metal has
never been replaced, orig. rear quarters, trunk pan, solid orig.
floors and frame. Re-chromed rear bumper, front head light
bezels, restored bright work, new lower rocker moldings.
The glass appears to be all orig. and in excellent
condition. Front grille is excellent as well as the rear
tail light bezels, with a slight pitting to the pot metal, but
very nice overall. New leadlight switch. Nice clean
door bottoms, solid front fenders. The paint is refinished
in PPG base coat clear coat system and has a high glossy shine.
Under the hood is highly detail w/ the correct factory
appearance. Looking in the trunk...containing the
spare and jack and is very clean. Al new weather strip.
The black interior is nicely restored, no wear or tear, bucket
seats, console. Hurst comp shifter and shifts smooth as
butter! 3rd time back to our dealership and gets better
every on every return with new additions. Well kept, no
rattles, solid performance, pump the gas 3 times and turn
the key...reliable. It's dual 2.5 exhaust w/ Flow Master
mufflers gives this old goat a nice rumbling sound. Tight
front end, all instruments work. Considered a nice
driver. Quality car that will attract attention.
65's are one of the most sought after GTO's over all other
years. Great styling, true performance when kicking in
that tri-power, great acceleration. Comes with PHS
documentation...the real deal, not a clone. All serviced
