This factory GT convertible is in restoration. The car has
a 289 4V motor rebuilt Ford Motorsport alum intake, 600CFM
Holley carb, factory dual point dist., new fuel pump, water
pump, new headers, complete new engine and headlight harness.
New radiator, voltage regulator, new KYB gas shocks. The
front nose section was removed to detail all the inner and outer
fender aprons, front end components, as well as the doors to
detail the jambs. Solid rust free fenders are prepped and
prepared for paint to hood and front lower valance etc.
Lots of under coating had been removed at the front end and
underside. The under side has all its orig. floor pans and
torque boxes. Once the undercoating was removed, we
noticed only a few tiny areas needed attention, minor enough
that it was not recommended in changing floor pans,
because they are very solid. Factory orig. rear
quarters with no repairs noticed. Solid doors, trunk lid,
and trunk area. Originally Amber Glow with blk convertible
top, now, Red with white top. The interior has all been
restored except for the back seat. Front seat covers,
carpet, door panels, orig. dash pad all with no cracks.
New instrument cluster, not installed, factory 4 spd. shifter,
orig. walnut wood wheel, power top, fog lights, aftermarket
am/fm radio with orig. am radio included. Front disc
brakes, Rally pac with clock, Trumpet exhaust with OEM style
mufflers. The body is very straight, the glass is all
orig. including the shaded windshield. The chrome bumpers
are in very good condition, factory steel style 14" road wheels
with P195 75R 14" white wall radials. The white top is not
worn or torn, just needs some elbow grease. New U joints,
rear springs, clutch pressure plate and through out bearing is
also new. Many parts have already been purchased to
complete the restoration of this true GT A Code. Comes
with an orig. Window sticker. |
