1927 Dodge Six

Go to an antique and classic car show and if it's the cars of the 1920s and 1930s that light your fire, you'll see plenty of Fords and Chevys. But if you're looking for something different and interesting, you should check out this 1927 Dodge Brothers Senior Six coupe. That year marked the debut of the six-cylinder engine option; prior to that it was four-cylinder engines only for the brand. Here we have one of those roaring '20s Dodges, with its rock-solid body wearing a beautiful green and black two-tone paint scheme that's nicely accented with the green wooden wheels wearing wide-whitewall tires. The chrome radiator shell, headlight rings and bumpers add to the car's upscale look. The engine and trunk compartments are very clean as well. Inside, the light tan cloth upholstery looks and feels excellent, and the dash with its symmetrical instrument layout adds to the sense of style. Features include the tilt-out windshield and a single windshield wiper. Under the hood is that straight six that provides smooth and ample power. The Dodge's light weight, torquey engine, confident braking and big steering wheel contribute to the car's surprisingly easy to drive nature.
