1951 Chevrolet 3600

This 1951 Chevrolet 3600 Pick-up has spent most of its entire life stored in a barn in Montana. The last time this truck in Montana was 1952 when it was bought new. According to the previous owners, the truck was completely rust free and in original condition. The factory original paint was very burnt and faded from its age, but remarkably the truck was never driven in inclimate weather. This truck recently received a clear-coat finish to protect the bare metal and primary areas where the paint is thin. It's powered by a 216 In-line straight six cylinder engine with a oil-bath air cleaner . The engine runs extremely well, and fires-up effortless every time with the trucks 6 volt system. Turn the key, pull out the choke, set the throttle position and depress the starter button on the floor ! The truck is also equipped with a 4speed gear box and 1st gear creaper gear for heavy hauling or towing. The 8 ' bed will give you plenty of additional cargo space and you'll notice that the wood is completely original with no rot noticed. Remarkably the truck has no rust or repairs to its original body, but the truck has some bumps and bruises during its life on the farm. Not only is the truck in solid condition, but it only has a mere 25,707 actual miles. All the lights work, including the fender mounted turn signals, dash lights and everything works. The original wiring is also in very good condition, and the trucks interior is also in really nice shape. The hand emergency brake works, and the trucks headliner and dome light are considered to be "Original and in awesome condition.
