Description

** JUST IN, MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW ** 1968 Plymouth Barracuda factory B029 race car. This is one of just 70 ever built by Hurst Performance. We sold this amazing Mopar back in 2017 and when we had the opportunity to acquire it once again, we did. Incredible three-year restoration by Hodges Restorations (Inman, South Carolina) with only 0.3 mile since. Amazing and extensive documentation includes drag racing photos, B029 Registry and information on its seven owners. Also includes the restoration receipts and specs on its "Race" Hemi engine, Galan Govier's full decoding report with photos, fender tag and the VIN appearing on the radiator support and driver's side rear quarter panel. Powered by a 426 Hemi with dual quads mounted on a cross ram intake. That race Hemi was built by Hensley Performance in Knoxville TN. Dyno tested at 732 horsepower and requires C14 racing fuel. The Torque-Flite 727 automatic transmission was built by Richard Allison / A&A transmission with a 3500 stall convertor and trans-brake. Dana 60 Sure-Grip rear end now fitted with a 4.10 gear; note that this drag strip terror originally had a super-aggressive 4.86 rear gear. As you'd expect, this Barracuda is a rip-roaring rocket and not for the faint-hearted! With this potent Plymouth's incredible combination of rarity, comprehensive documentation (including owners' history) and stunning restoration (with less than a mile since!), this is an opportunity not to be missed! For more information or to schedule time to see this stunning piece of Mopar history, just give us a call at 603-627-5595. Financing is offered through our approved lender, interesting trades are welcome and enclosed shipping can be arranged.
