When it comes to having the most stylish full-size cars of the 1960s, a strong argument could be made for Pontiac. Compared to its often times stodgy rivals and even its handsome GM cousins, Pontiac just seemed to have the right balance of flash and class. And there was plenty of power under the skin as well, with a roster of strong engines that moved these rolling sculptures with ease. The gorgeous Aegena Blue paint as well as the chrome and stainless-steel trim are stunning as well. That styling we were talking about earlier is undeniable in this car with its elegantly sweeping roofline, sculpted body sides and fender skirts. Inside, the pristine Teal Blue color is a nice complement to the exterior hue, and the high style continues with the wood tone accents on the dash and door panels. The amazing condition of the headliner, dash, door panels and upholstery lend full credence for the low mileage showing on the odometer, as does the inside of the trunk. Under the long hood is the original 400 cubic-inch, 4-barrel V8 coupled to a three-speed automatic. Underway it’s smooth and quiet as it gets the big Bonneville moving along with little effort. On the highway this car is in its element, providing a plush ride as it eats up the miles with ease.
