Here, we have a 1972 Corvette coupe that boasts just one owner as well as a numbers-matching powertrain. The body is in nice driver quality condition with its gleaming paint and chrome/stainless-steel trim. This unique 'vette strikes us as a "Day 2" customization as it has an early 1970s-style custom paint scheme that looks to be inspired by the Baldwin-Motion Corvettes of the time. It also has an "L88" style hood and a set of super rare and period-correct "Fenton" chrome wheels. The interior is in very good shape apart from minor wear to the driver's door panel and this example is fairly loaded as the factory options include A/C, tilt/telescopic steering wheel and an AM/FM stereo radio. You can't help but notice the aftermarket features that include a vintage, dial-style car phone and an 8-track player for those Chicago and Zeppelin tapes. Under the long hood is the factory-issued 350 4-barrel V8 that sends the power to the Positraction rear end via an automatic transmission.
