1982 Porsche 911

The air-cooled Porsche 911s have been hot for quite some time now and the strong market for them shows no signs of letting up. The "Targa" body style features a one-piece removable roof panel that offers the open-air experience of a convertible when off and the comfort and added security of a coupe when it's in place. This 911 has enjoyed a sunny life, having been sold new in Sacramento, CA and residing in Reno, NV from 1982-2002. It then spent the next 18 years in the Modesto, CA area until it was relocated to Maine in 2020. Running through a five-speed manual and with the 911 weighing less than 2,800 pounds, the Porsche’s performance was thrilling with 0-60 in around 5.9 seconds, a quarter mile in 14.7 seconds and a top speed of 140 mph. Handling and braking are also strong, with communicative steering, sticky tires and large four-wheel disc brakes.
